Phyllis Anderson Keeter Sawyer, 74, of Crowley, passed away October 4, 2016 in Crowley. Graveside service to be held Saturday, October 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Arwine Cemetery, 700 Arwine Cemetery Road in Hurst.
Mrs. Sawyer was born November 14, 1941 in Fort Worth, the oldest of three daughters to Marvin and Edith (Sweeney) Anderson. She spent several years working in the medical field in administration. She loved country music and dancing.
Mrs. Sawyer was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Gilbert Keeter and her second husband Herbert Sawyer and her son Brian Keeter; she is survived by her daughter Audrey (Karl) Samuel and sisters Susie (Raymond) Haney and Theresa "Jeanie" (Richard) Locklear. Mrs. Sawyer was retired from the VA Hospital in Waco.
