Rafael Garcia 8/8/1960 - 7/28/2024
Rafael Garcia was called to heaven on July 29, 2024 at the age of 63, to be reunited with his father, Francisco Garza Garcia and sister Francisca Garcia Garfia.
Rafael was born in Matamoros, Tamp, Mexico and moved to Austin, Texas at an early age. He lived in several Dallas Fort Worth metroplex cities, finally settling down in Burleson, Texas.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 46 years, Antonia Alejo and his sons Paul, Javier, and Jaime. Also survived by his grandkids Adrian, Sebastian, Julian, and Christian. Also survived by his mother, Guillermina Garfia; Sisters, Olga & husband Carlos; Eva & husband Mike; Mary Jane & husband Alex; brothers Valentino and Domingo Jr.; and many nephews and nieces. He truly adored his niece Nancy, his nephews Paul Jr and Torrey.
Rafael was a very humble, respectful sympathetic, simple, caring, devoted, and honest man. He was very giving and would help anyone in need and never expected anything in return. Always paid it forward with the intention of putting back positivity and love into the stream of life.
He was a very hard worker and was always starting new adventures. He was a firm believer in he who plants a self righteous seed will prosper successfully in life. There was nothing he couldn’t fix or try to fix. He was a perfectionist and anything he set his mind to he completed. He was a man of his word and honored his word and commitments. He was a jack of all trades - He started shoe shining at the very early age of 8 years old in the streets of Matamoros, he knew then, that working hard was his way of helping his family out of poverty. He was the oldest of his siblings and always strived to help them succeed in life. Although very humble he was very successful and fruitful through his mindset and hard working ethics. From, simple beginnings in construction to auto mechanics, and to owning his own Fencing, powder coating, and welding business. In his later years he ran his business while also getting the opportunity to work in the water tank industry, which he enjoyed and worked in for the past 20 years.
He was very loving and caring; Rafael Garcia had many uncles, aunts and cousins; and a long list of friends he met throughout his life that became family to him. He admired and respected everyone he grew a friendship with and cherished them as a brotherhood and fellowship.
Rafael has left a BIG impact on everyone he knew and touched. He was one of a kind. He will live on forever in our memories, thoughts, prayers, and hearts. He will be truly missed!
