Rafael Alonzo Lopez

Rafael Lopez passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Fort Worth, TX. Rafael was born on December 6, 1965 in Carlsbad, NM to Rosendo Lopez and Manuela Antillon. He grew up in El Paso, TX then moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in the late 1980's. He attended Devry Institute of Technology and upon graduation worked as an IT Specialist at IBM.
Rafael married the love of his life, Kelly Trinh, on May 26, 2001 after an eight year courtship. They were blessed with three children, Nathan, Sydney and Kristen. Rafael was a dedicated husband, father, and amazing role model to his nieces and family.
Rafael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Angel Lopez and Juana Silva and Simon Antillon and Carmen Diaz. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kelly, children Nathan, Sydney and Kristen; father and mother Rosendo Lopez and Manuela Antillon; brothers Arnoldo Lopez, Hugo Lopez and his wife Hea Kyung Park, Rosendo Lopez Jr. and his wife Erica Lopez; sister Susan Lopez; nieces Leah, Christy, Cyndi, Isabella, Alejandra, Chloe, Krista, Anissa and Bryanna; great nieces Emma and Cataleya; great nephew Colin.

A Memorial service with a Rosary at 7 will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.

Memorial mass will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 2016 Willis Lane, Keller, TX 76248.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Brain Tumor Association or The Glioblastoma Foundation.
