Ramon Herrera Vazquez

Ramon Herrera Vazquez, 89, of Bedford, TX, passed away on 11/15/2021. He was born to parents Jose and Luz Vazquez, on 12/09/1931 in Presidio, TX.
Ramon was raised in Pecos, Texas and later married Anita Urquidi. He is a Korea veteran. He worked for Pecos Petroleum in Orla, Texas and later for Phillips Petroleum where he was a supervisor. He was sent to work to Maracaibo, Venezuela for 8 years and then Stavanger, Norway. Ramon then returned to the United States and worked in Hobbs, New Mexico and Andrews, Texas where he retired and then moved to Bedford, Texas.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Ann and parents Jose and Luz Vazquez. Ramon is survived by wife Anita Vazquez, son Frank Anthony ( Tony ) Vazquez, daughter-in-law Kerri Vazquez, three grandchildren Nicolas Alexander Vazquez, Daniel Chase Vazquez, Samantha Leigh Garcia, one great grandson Caiden Reign Garcia, brother Frank Vasquez and 10 nieces and 6 nephews.
The family has entrusted Lucas Funeral Home with the arrangements. Services for Ramon is scheduled for November 22, 2021 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Bedford, Texas. Burial will be private in Pecos, Texas.
