Randall William Piacenti, 66, of Arlington, Texas passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, March 23, 2024 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on October 1, 1957, in Chicago Heights, Illinois to the late Ron and Betty Piacenti. He graduated from Rich Central High School in Olympia Fields, Illinois before attending Prairie State College. He moved to Arlington, Texas in 1980 and spent most of his working career in restaurant management.
Randy was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys. He was thrilled to watch the Rangers win their first World Series this past fall. Randy loved playing competitive softball and throwing darts on the local dart circuit.
Randy will be remembered by his children, Nate Piacenti (and his wife Marianne), Kelly Piacenti Matisi (and her partner Cynthia Lebel) and their mother Laurie Piacenti, as well as his daughter Estella Mercedes Zepeda Piacenti and her mother Evonne Tacket. He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Terri Piacenti, Rick and Grace Piacenti, his sister Rhonda Piacenti, his Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Carmine Caruso of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Lucas Piacenti.
