Randy Kurt Venswencey was born June 16, 1971 and went to heaven on September 1, 2017.
No simple obituary could encapsulate all that he was. He lived a life full of love, purpose and service and will be remembered for his infectious laugh and goofy grin. His love of country led to enlistment in the Marine Reserves, later service in Coast Guard, Navy and finally the Army until he retired as a Captain in 2015. His love of travel took him all over the globe, and he loved to visit exotic places with his family. His love of that family is what kept him going through so many trials and tribulations, especially his precious boys.
He is survived by his wife Rhea; sons Ryan and Peter; parents George and Ilona, brothers Ron and Larry, and sister Ivy; nephews Michael and George, and niece Mary; and a host of friends, comrades and brothers-in-arms that will miss him forever. We rejoice that he is no longer in pain and that he gave his heart to Christ as a teenager so that he may live in eternal glory as a son of God.
A Celebration of Randy's life will be at 2pm on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Lucas Funeral Home Keller Chapel.
