Ray D. Cooksey, 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.
Graveside Service: 11:00 AM Saturday at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
Ray was born August 3, 1931 to the late C.E. and Ester Cooksey. He retired from Bell Helicopter where he worked as a Machinist for 30 years.
Survivors: Wife of 27 years, Wanda Cooksey of Newark; son, Bobby Cooksey and wife Dana of Dumas; grandson, Charles Cooksey and wife Cynthia of Dumas; granddaughter, Debra Cooksey of Dumas; great-grandsons, Tristan, Walker, Braxton, and Kegan of Dumas; great-granddaughters, Daphne and Trinity of Dumas; great-great-grandson, Alex; great-great-granddaughter, Samantha; step-daughter, Patricia Meadows and husband Mike of Rhome; step-son, Leslie Winslager and wife DeAnn of Fairfield; step-grandsons, Bryan, Kevin, Joshua, Jacob, and John; step-great-grandchildren, Hayden, Aubrey, Emery, Anne Claire, Kinley, and Paisley; brother, Dean Cooksy and wife Linda of Arlington; sisters, Faye Roberts of Bonham and Lorene Hawk and husband John of Savoy; and a host of friends and extended family members.
