Ray T. Shelton passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016, in Grapevine, at 92 years of age.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine.
Ray was born on December 7, 1923, in Coppell to W.T. and Cora Shelton. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II flying many missions over Europe in a B-24 Bomber. Ray owned and operated Shelton's Cleaners in Grapevine for over 22 years.
He was preceded in passing by his loving wife, Ruth Shelton; son, Harold Shelton; and his parents.
Survivors: Ray is survived by his son, Milton Shelton and wife, Judy; daughters, Becky Poole and husband, Robert, and Tammy Thomas and husband, Danny; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
