Rayfield Donald "Bear" Munsie Sr. born in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, raised in Norwood, OH, was a graduate of Norwood High School where he played on the varsity basketball team. Don was a long-time resident of Haltom City, Texas where he passed away on November 3, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a life well-lived. Born on August 15, 1935, he was the beloved husband of the late Anna Catherine Munsie, who passed away on November 4, 2006. Rayfield was the son of Lawrence and Florida Munsie.

Throughout his life, Don, affectionately was known as "Bear", dedicated himself to the world of finance as an accountant. He possessed a remarkable skill for numbers, and his unwavering commitment to his profession earned the respect and admiration of those he worked with during his tenure at Swift & Company. His work was a testament to his integrity and diligence, setting a standard for excellence throughout his field.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Don found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid golfer, enjoying leisurely days on the golf course and sharing his passion for the sport with friends and family. He also had a deep love for sports, whether it was watching a game or discussing the latest events with family.

Don was preceded in death by his brother, Larry, but leaves behind a legacy that will continue to shine through his surviving siblings: Catherine, Jim, Gary, Terry.

Don's impact on this world extends far beyond his career and hobbies. He was a devoted father to his children, Rayfield Munsie Jr. and his wife Donna, Jennifer Struzina and her husband Rich, David Munsie and his wife Kristine. His love and guidance will be missed forever.

Don's legacy extends to his nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, who will continue to cherish the wisdom and love he shared with them throughout his life.

Visitation and the funeral service to celebrate Rayfield's life will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, located at 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst, Texas, with the following schedule:

Visitation: November 9, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Funeral: November 10, 1:00 PM
