Raymond Edgar Ferguson

Raymond Edgar Ferguson, age 79, was a son, husband, and father. He was a wonderful brother and friend to many. He passed away on June 1, 2023 at Baylor Hospital in Grapevine, Texas after two surgeries and some complications with intestinal difficulties. Ray's family would like to thank the ICU and Trauma team for their excellent care. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 9th at 10:00am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Overton, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Gateway Church in Southlake at 10:00am on Saturday, June 10th . Ray was born in Seymour, Texas on January 2,1944 to Albert L. Ferguson and Novie Lee Ferguson. He grew up in Texas and was proud to be a Texan. Ray attended school in Holliday, Texas from Kindergarten through Ninth grade. Afterward the family moved to Windthorst, Texas where he attended Antelope High School and graduated in 1962.
