Raymond "Fred" Swartz

Raymond "Fred" Swartz of Keller, Texas passed away on February 24, 2021. He was the oldest of two children born March 13, 1942 to Raymond and Edith Swartz. Fred was a loving husband to Shirley Swartz and proud father of three son: Freddy Bruce, Kenneth Matthew, and David Allen Swartz. Fred earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. He wore many hats over the years as a brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather as well as counseling special needs children, coaching his sons for 16 years in football, baseball, and basketball. Fred was a Senior Cost Analyst at Siemens for 30+ years before retiring. He was well known for his love of family, playful spirit, and love of sports. He loved taking family vacations, watching his children and many grandchildren play a variety of sports, and attending their various school events.

Fred is survived by his wife, Shirley Swartz; sons, Bruce Swartz and family, Matt Swartz and his wife Stacy and family; sister, Jaynie and husband Mike Shotwell; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
