Rebecca "Becky" Reynolds Berry

May 18, 1964 — January 21, 2022

Rebecca “Becky” Reynolds Berry of Hurst, Texas passed away Friday January 21, 2022. Becky was born May 18, 1964 to Wallace and Rose Staples in Abilene, Texas.
She met the love of her life, Colyn Berry, in 2000 and they were together as much as military life and air travel allowed either traveling or just sitting and staring at each other. If you have seen the slide show, some of them really showed the love in her eyes for Colyn.
Becky grew up in Abilene in a family with brothers and sisters and so many cousins it’s difficult to count without a tablet and a calculator. She was described by one of her cousins, Renee, “From as far back as I can remember we were always together as kids. Her sweetness, her giggle. So timid & gentle. The most wild and unmanageable hair. She was so scared of my loud & boisterous mother”. Becky married at young age and had Leila and Chip. Things didn’t work out so she went out on her own and worked various jobs and gained her G.E.D. and went to work in the medical field and raised her children, who were extremely important to her. In the early 2000’s once her kids were grown, she joined the Gypsy MC and became a flight attendant and began traveling the states either by plane or motorcycle. She really flourished and started enjoying life at this time. Not only with flying around for work, but if Colyn was around to go with her, she would get on her motorcycle and ride 300 miles by herself in rain storms and 100-degree heat to join up with her big brother somewhere just for the weekend. Becky loved to be around family and friends, laugh and have fun. She lit up a room when she walked into it, and had a big and beautiful smile (again as seen in the pictures). She was extremely beautiful inside and out. She was loved by all that met her and will be extremely missed.
She leaves behind Colyn Berry of Hurst, Tx; her daughter Leila DeeAnn Reynolds, of Tye, Tx., her sons Chip Reynolds of Eula, Tx., Joey and Christen Berry of Hurst, Tx., her granddaughter Katie Reynolds of Eula, Tx., Her grandson Tre Martinez of Tye, Tx., Brothers Jimmy Staples and wife Gwen of Magnolia, Tx. and Johnny Hancock and wife Veasna of Abilene, Tx., Sisters Tammy Day and Bruce of Tye, Tx., and Sheila Elkins and husband Sam of Merkel, Tx. She is also survived by numerous nieces: Amber Staples, Cara Garner, Stephanie Trowbridge, Kellie Shafer, Shawna Rake, and Natalie Hancock and nephews: Jason Poulton, Joel Staples, Chris Poulton, and Sammy Staples. As well as 100’s of cousins and 1000’s of Gypsy brothers and sisters all over the globe.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bryant Wallace Staples and Rose Anna and Al Potter.
