Regina (Reg) Cecilia Goldade, 85, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023, in Fort Worth Texas.
Reg was born on February 2, 1938, in Trail City, South Dakota to Anna and Jacob Krumm. She was the second youngest of 6 siblings. She married her lifelong soulmate Valentine (Val) Goldade on September 12, 1956. Reg had a passion for designing and creating. Her many talents included being an accomplished seamstress, baking wedding cakes, performing furniture repair and refinishing, operating her paint and interior design business, and being a beloved wife. They raised three children Jeff, Valerie, and Carmen, in Mobridge, SD. Val and Reg retired in May of 2000 and relocated to Rapid City, SD to enjoy the beautiful Black Hills and were there until December 2022 when they relocated to Dallas/Fort Worth to be closer to family. They enjoyed dancing, playing cards, camping, traveling, and socializing with their many friends. Their greatest joy was being with their grandkids and great grandchild.
Reg is survived by her husband of 67 years, Val Goldade; son Jeff (Karen) Goldade; daughter Valerie (Greg) Camillo; daughter Carmen Goldade; granddaughter Cameron (Brian) McCarthy, grandsons Brent (Kendra) Goldade, Chris Goldade, Vincent Camillo, Nick Camillo, Anthony Camillo, and great grandson Grady Goldade.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Anna Krumm, brothers: Pete, Jim, and Val Krumm; sisters in law: Marie and Arletha Krumm, Euphenia Scott, and Marlene Goldade; brothers n law: Joe, Aloysius (Al), and Tayfield (Tosh) Goldade; son in law: Ken Puck and grandson: Kenny Puck
A private mass will be held to honor Reg’s life, and family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, July 26 at 11:00am at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd., Hurst TX 76053. The service will be live streamed for those that cannot attend in person. A burial will immediately follow at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for Reg, especially Teresia Oluoch, during her last days. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
