Reginald De Ceuninck Van Capelle

Reginald de Ceuninck van Capelle, 83, of Watauga, Texas died June 5, 2019. Reggie was born August 28, 1935, in Surabaya, Indonesia. He spent his formative years in Sloetermeyer, Holland. He also met the love of his life, Dorothy Lease in Amsterdam, Holland and they were married on August 11, 1962.

He began his avionic mechanics career in Holland with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines which afforded him the opportunity to work for Delta Airlines in Los Angeles, CA in 1968. He moved his young family to California that year and then in 1983, his career took him and his family to Texas and the surrounding Dallas/Fort worth area. Reggie retired from Delta Airlines in 2001, after an amazing career of over 40 years in the airline industry.

Reggie had a huge passion for the game of soccer. He coached both his daughters and sons teams and played until the age of 55 and never missed a game on tv. He loved to take his family on many beach and camping adventures. And Reggie never missed the opportunity for a good joke and had a great sense of humor.

Reggie is survived by his wife, Dorothy, son, Jeff de Ceuninck van Capelle, spouse Lori; daughter, Esther Whited, spouse Chris; sister, Deny Graf, spouse Paul, and brother, Rob de Ceuninck van Capelle, spouse Hedy; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many loved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theo de Ceuninck van Capelle and Elvier (Portier) and brother Rudolf.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 3pm, Lucas Funeral Homes, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248.
