Rejner “Ray” William Manley was born on December 14, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edna Alice (Rowley) and Audley Eugene Manley. He was welcomed into the Kingdom of our Lord on March 26, 2023 in Bedford, Texas at the age of 62 years old.
Ray was a family man who led his high school sweetheart and wife of 42 years, MaryAnne, and his kids, Jennifer, Amy, and Zak, in the ways of the Lord. He loved Jesus and his family. He liked to sing, play guitar, and listen to all genres of music, but had a penchant for Elvis. He enjoyed traveling all over with his family, but was especially fond of Destin, Florida- walking on the beach, riding jet skis, and taking in the beautiful sunsets. He had a 2017 Mustang, lovingly referred to as the “Garage Queen.” He had a great sense of humor and loved playing with his grandchildren. Some of his hobbies included going to the gun range, the casino, and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ray is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of over 42 years, Mary Anne Manley of Fort Worth, Texas; adoring children, Jennifer Manley of Fort Worth, Texas, Amy Ferguson and husband, Daniel, of Aledo, Texas, and Zak Manley and Jessica Fulwider of Weatherford, Texas; precious grandchildren, Kaydence, Harlee, Lukas, Stetsyn, and Scarlett; brothers, Jim Manley of Keller, Texas, Rick Manley and wife, Susan, of Azle, Texas, and Jerry Farris of Fort Worth, Texas; brother-in-law, Marty Singer of Fort Worth, Texas, sisters-in-law, Lori Mikus and husband, Greg, of Hurst, Texas and Susie Mitchell of Springtown, Texas; special nieces and nephews, Stephanie, David, Cathy, Whitney, and Eric; and special family friends, Tammy and Jim Lepley of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Debi Richardson of Haltom City, Texas.
