Reverend James Edward Smith,
March 20, 1935 - February 28, 2021, 85 years, 11 months, 8 days.

At the age of 18, James was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit and was chosen by God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He served in the Army National Guard and the United States Army at Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
On June 6, 1959 he married his sweetheart, Joy. They were happily married for 61 years and 8 months.

James' life was based on Christian principles. James was faithful to minister to family, the church, friends and neighbors. Taught and believed in signs, wonders and miracles. He loved his family and church family and friends. Served as teacher, bus ministry, visitation, and Board Member. At LAMB OF GOD CHURCH he served as Elder and In House Preacher. He and his wife traveled with Brother and Sister Green to minister to churches in Oklahoma, East Texas and West Texas. He & his wife also ministered in Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by parents, Eddie and Ethel Smith, two brothers and four sisters.

Left to cherish his memory and legacy: wife Joy Faye Smith; Son: Darrell (Kelli) Smith; Daughters: Elaine (Michael) Thomas, Katrina (Alan) Newman;
Nine grandchildren (four married), three great grand children
Brothers-in-laws, Bobby Ketcham, Wayne D'Anza, David Stevens
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a great host of friends.
