Richard D. Adams

Richard Adams was born March 5, 1946 to Roy (Happy) Adams and Oleta Adams in San Angelo, TX. He graduated from Lakeview High School, attended San Angelo College. He worked in the lumber and building business. Was the Preacher at Crowley Church of Christ for 25 years. Worked on Crowley P & Z board for 25 years. Was a member of Toastmasters Club leading to him doing public speaking. His favorite job of all was the pas 12 years working security for the Texas Rangers.

Richard married Elvira Fuessel Adams September 4, 1965. Loved his 3 children which led to coaching ball teams, going camping and trips to the beach. Resided in Crowley, TX for almost 50 years.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roy Dale Adams and Clayton Adams. He is survived by his wife, Elvira Adams; children, Michelle Adams, Robyn Adams Bell (Laurence) and Marcus Adams. Grandsons, Nocona Lee, Tate Lee, Eli Jacoby, and Noah Adams, Dakota Leach, Stetson Leach and Waylon Leach. Granddaughters, Marissa Adams, Maranda Adams and McKenzie Adams. One great-grandson Elijah King Adams. His best friends Boo & Pumpkin.

Visitation: September 6, 2021 at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home in Burleson, TX. Per request by Richard no Funeral Service will be held. A Celebaration of Life will be held at a later date.
