Richard Scott Burton, 63, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012.
Service: 1:30pm Tuesday, July 3rd at Whites Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas. Visitation is prior to the service from 12:30-1:30p. Rev. Betsy Godbold will be officiating.

Rich was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on April 4, 1949, son of Fredrick R. Burton and Jennie Mae Burton. He was a graduate of Indiana University and was employed by Lutheran Hospital as the Director of Materials Management for many years.
He relocated to Fort Worth Texas in 1996 and most recently was employed as the Vice President of Consumer Assistance Services Association. He was especially talented and fond of sports photography and pursued his hobby as a partner in Competition Photography.
Rich was an avid supporter of the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas and loved his rescued greyhounds.
Rich will be remembered for his kindness, compassion and true
friendship to the many lives that he touched. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors: his son, Jason Burton and his wife Katrina and grandson, Clayton. His sister, Joyce Black and her husband Dahl; his niece Kelly Bruggemann and her husband Ty and their children, Jennie, Julia, Ross and Ryann and his nephew, Stacy Black and his wife Whitney and their children Lauren and Jackson.
