Richard Nelson Carter

Richard Nelson Carter, 77, died June 15, 2017. He leaves his wife of 38 years, Marilyn (Allen) Carter; his 5 sons, Doug Carter, Guy Carter, Kyle Carter, Rick Carter, Robert Miller; his 3 daughters, Torri Beard, Nicole McClendon, Genet Watts; his sister, Mary Rae Davies; his 6 grandchildren, Brianna, Brittany, Brooke, Noah, Preston, Madison; and many nieces, nephews, close friends, and Bill W. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing, boating, and camping, and business owner of Carter Claim Service for over 40 years. He truly cherished his friends, mentored many, and loved his family and dogs. A memorial service will be held June 20th at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church Bedford, 2045 Bedford Road, Bedford, TX 76021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society of your choice or please send flowers to the church.
