Richard "Dick" Eugene Warren

Richard (Dick) Eugene Warren, 76, of Burleson, Texas passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 o’clock on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Calvary Chapel SW Metro, 307B East 12th St. Joshua, TX 76058. Led by Pastor Ken Davis and under the direction of Calvary Chapel SW Metro church.

Dick, an only child, was born November 29, 1947, in Ardmore, OK to Clarence and Helen (Minnie) Warren. He grew up in Ardmore and graduated from Ardmore High School. He attended Oklahoma University and became a real estate broker for most of his working history and worked independently. He married Diana in Las Vegas, Nevada in June 2000.

Dick was an avid collector of beer steins, Elvis’s memorabilia and all things classic movies – photos, posters and tokens. He enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas and Louisiana playing the slot machines. He had a passion for fast cars and insisted both he and Diana had them.

Dick loved to be the neighborhood watch committee of one. He would sit in his front yard and watch the goings on and report anything out of the ordinary to his neighbors. Sometimes this was very helpful and other times he was just being bossy. He was loved by his wife of over 25 years and her family welcomed him with open arms.

He was preceded in death by both his parents.
