Richard Frank Kleebauer, passed away on May 22,2022 in Keller, Texas. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband and adoring father to all that knew and loved him. He was born on August 10, 1937 in Baltimore, MD to Dorothy and Eugene Kleebauer.
Richard spent his life caring, comforting, and supporting others.
A fun, lively spirit, Richard enjoyed life to it’s fullest. As a father, Richard remained ready with corny jokes, hugs, and fatherly advice. He served in the Navy and retired as an Air Traffic Controller after over 20 years of service. Richard also held a position on the Quitman City Council and was active in the Methodist Church. He loved playing golf, watching baseball, his Navy Reunions and cooking on the grill.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Kristi Kleebauer, of Keller, Texas, his sisters Peggy Crowley and Rita Gibson, both of Baltimore, Maryland as well as many nieces and nephews, and beloved cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Eugene Kleebauer, his two brothers Eugene Kleebauer, and Carl Kleebauer, and his wife of 57 years, Billie Kleebauer.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on May 31st, 2022 in the Walton Chapel at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake Texas. Richard has chosen Burial at Sea for his final resting place. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to White’s Chapel UMC Classics Adult Fellowship.
