Richard Allen Landess

Richard Allen Landess, 83, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday, at Saint Andrews Lutheran Church, 504 W. Bedford Euless Rd., Hurst Texas 76053. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Richard was born February 22, 1933 in Brighton, Iowa. He graduated from High School in Anamosa, Iowa and from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. He was a Pharmacist for over 50 years. Richard was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and Iowa chapter of the Lions Club and Masons.
He liked to play bridge, and enjoyed woodworking. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and faithful Chicago Cubs fan. Richard served with honor in the Army at the end of the Korean War.
Richard was preceded in death by his Parents and 2 Sisters.
Survivors: Wife of 55 years, Kathleen Larson Landess, children; Robert, Steven, and Stefanie; grandchildren: Sean Landess and Neena Landess Bleau; 2 great-grandchildren: Cooper and Deacon Bleau; and a host of friends.
