Richard Alfonso Malek

Richard Alfonso Malek was born on April 16, 1956 in Kingston, Jamaica where he completed his elementary and middle school education at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic School. He graduated high school at Campion College in 1974.

Richard came to the United States in August 1977 with his family. They settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where Richard attended Florida Atlantic University. He graduated in 1982 with a degree in accounting. While at Florida Atlantic Richard met the love of his life, Trudy. They spent 38 incredible years together deeply in love.

Richard worked in accounting his entire life, first in Boca Raton, Florida and most recently in Fort Worth, TX.

After Richard was diagnosed with cancer, he frequently told friends how blessed he was to witness the wedding of his daughter and the birth of his granddaughter.

Richard died on June 22 at age 63. He was preceded in death by his father and will always be known as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, granduncle, cousin and friend.
