Richard A. (Rick) Mcgraw

September 24, 1951 — January 13, 2024

Richard A. (Rick) McGraw passed away on January 13, 2024 after a short battle due to dementia. Rick was born in Shelbyville, Indiana to parents Marge & Bill McGraw.

Rick was a 28yr flight attendant for American Airlines until his retirement in 2019.

Rick is survived by his husband, Bobby Clay of Euless, step-son & daughter in law Jason & Bea Clay of Bryan, Texas, step-son & daughter in law Heath & Betty Clay of Round Rock, Texas.

Grandchildren Paige & Grayson Clay of Bryan, Texas, Lexi Clay of College Station, Texas, Leah & Logan Clay of Round Rock, Texas.

Longtime friends, Tracy Neville of Madison, Wisconsin, Robbie Auser of Las Colinas, Texas and Jennifer Cohn of Port St Lucie, Florida.

Rick was a member of the Association of Profession Flight Attendant, volunteer for the Wings Foundation and the Snowball Express annual event. Rick was very passionate about Snowball Express, spending time with the children and families of fallen soldiers. Each year he looked forward to seeing the families but especially all the kids that had come to know him as “Mr Rick”.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on January 22, 2024, Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, Texas 76053. Reception immediately follow at Italianni’s Restaurant, 1601 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, Texas.
