Richard Palmer of Keller, Texas, passed away on March 4, 2018 in Grapevine, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, family member, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on August 6, 1958 in Sleaford, England to Lawrence and Stella Palmer.
Richard settled with his family in Keller, Texas in 1997. He received a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Le Tourneau University. Richard enjoyed a rewarding thirty-one year career with Stemco, his most recent title being Business Segment Leader of the wheel end products. He enjoyed a good round of golf, traveling the world and spending time with family and friends.
He leaves his wife Becky Palmer of Keller, Texas, daughter Alaina Palmer, mother-in-law Shirley Asbridge and father-in-law Bill Turley, aunt Nan Smith, brothers-in-law Tony Chester, Scott Asbridge and wife Debbie. Nieces Amber Soots and husband Mike, Lauren Asbridge, Ashley Forsythe, Paris Asbridge and nephew Nicholas Asbridge, cousin Jane Wilson and husband John. He was preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Stella Palmer, sisters Janet Tirel, Gillian Chester, uncle Ray Smith, and brother-in-law, Jim Asbridge.
The memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday March 23 at Hillside Community Church Keller, Texas.
