Richard Rivas

Richard Rivas, of Keller, TX, went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2019 in Westlake, TX. He will always be remembered as an amazing father, husband, son, brother, Godson, tio, nephew, cousin, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on March 22, 1990 in Chicago, IL, to Guillermina Berrun and Cirenio Rivas. Richard was a guitarist and singer who constantly played for his wife, children, parents, family and friends. He was a successful business man and always put his family first. He was a loving and devoted father who loved playing with his kids and nephew, playing video games, watching MMA, taking family vacation, making jokes, and going to the shooting range. Richard continually showed love, kindness, compassion, understanding, patience, and peace to all he came in contact with. Richard is survived by his wife, K-Lee Rivas, daughter, Camila Rivas, son, Andres Rivas, mother, Guillermina Berrun, father, Cirenio Rivas, sister, Karen Olmos, brother, Edwin Rivas, brother-in-law, Mario Olmos, abuelita Benita Tellez, nephew, Julian Ovalle, nephew, Bryson Riggs, niece, Brooklyn Nunley, Godmother, Susana Berrun, Godfather, Reyes Berrun, and all of his loving family. He was preceded in death by his baby brother, Andrecito Rivas, maternal grandfather, Pedro Berrun, and paternal grandfather, Placido Rivas. The visitation will be held from 5pm - 7pm on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the funeral home. The Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for Richard’s baby girl and boy.
