Richard Thomas Sherman II (1968-2023), 54,of North Richland Hills, TX, was a son, brother, father, grandpa, uncle and friend, was suddenly taken from us on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023.

Richard was born in Rapid City, SD on November 21, 1968 to parents Richard and Sherry Sherman. He was an avid sports and gaming fan who loved his Cowboys and Stars. Richard shared in his granddaughter’s love for softball and was present and early at every practice and game. Richard never met a stranger and kids naturally just loved him, especially his grandchildren who he had an unexplainable bond with. He was the most loving, kind and caring man and his family loved to stump him with good puzzles or games of all kinds. He made such an impact on the lives he touched and for this he will truly be missed by all.

Richard is survived by his mother Sherry Cook, father Richard Sherman, step-father Larry Cook, sister Michele Kvestad and brother-in-law Robert Kvestad, brothers Tony Cook and Jim Cook, Wife of 27 years Kendra Sherman, Daughters Micah Franco and Tayia Whitmer, son-in-law Jordan Franco, Nieces Desiree Logan and Brittany Jackson and their families, nephew Max Cook, Grandchildren Jordynn, Eilynn, Cameron, Adalynn, Jaycee, Brayden and Kinley and other extended family and friends.
