Richard Todd, 59, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in Fort Worth.
He was born November 22, 1956 in Columbus, Indiana to Jack and Patricia Todd. He was a Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Best friend and co-worker. This man touched literally hundreds of people's lives.
Richard was and accomplished aircraft mechanic from 2000-2016. working as a mechanic, an installation technician as well as a fabricator, building wings for the B-2 Aircraft. He trained dozens of aircraft mechanics and technicians. Richard was the man who always had the answer, the fix or the remedy. If it could not be done, then Richard was the one to find a way to get it done.
Richard was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and shoot. He currently holds the Lake Stryker Largemouth Bass record. He was an animal lover and made the world's best Denver omelet. Richard was the man who would literally give you the shirt off his back if you were without one. He will be missed by so many.
Richard is Survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Cynthia Todd; parents, Jack Todd and Patricia Moore; son, Brett Shaw; daughter, Kristy Riley; grandchildren, Hailey, Jaidan and Ethan; brothers, Tracy Todd, Robert Moore, Jr. and Carl Moore; sister, Kristine Moore; nieces and nephews and many good friends and co-workers.
A Celebration of Richard's Life service will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst, Texas.
