Richard F. Weinburg Jr. (Dick) passed away OCtober 17, 2017 after a Short illness.
A private family memorial services will be held in North Richland Hills on November 11, 2017. Memorial Mass will take place at 10:30 am on November 18, 2017, at St. Anne's Parish, 290 Jefferson Ave, Salem, MA 01970. After the Memorial, lunch will be served from 12pm to 4pm at the Elks Post in Peabody.
Dick Weinburg was a great husband, son, brother, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend. Proud of his country, Dick gladly and honorably served in the U.S. Navy. A great nurse, he cared for many persons whom society would prefer to dismiss. He worked for 15 years at the Fort Worth correctional System in the county jail where he gave his patients the utmost respect, great dignity and superb nursing care, using his vast store of medical knowledge to help them through their ailments. Dick held family dear to his heart. Ronny Weinburg was the love of Dick's life for 21 years. When together, the strong bond between then was obvious.
The sorrow we feel at his loss cannot be expressed in words; nor can the thanks the world owes him for his service. We loved him deeply.
Dick adored his parents: Richard F. Weinburg Sr., Patricia Weinburg, and Carol Thibault-Sullaway; his sisters: Tima Niarhos, AnnMarie Pryde, and Trina Gordon; nieces and nephews: Jack B. Pryde, Jessica Lee, Alexandra Niarhos, Craig Gordon, and Costas Niarhos; parents-in-law: Velda and Lou Johnson; sister-in-law, Kim Trietsch.
