Rickie Renee Burch

We are sad to announce on the evening of Sunday, June 26, 2022, Rickie Jones/Burch passed
away at the age of 65. Rickie passed away in her home in Keller, TX. Rickie was a beloved wife to
her husband, Ronnie, and mother to Justin Burch, grandmother to Leah Burch and Skyler Ballard.
Survivors include her mother, Helen Jones, her sisters, Mickie Pritchett, Tammye Pettit, Leigh Anne
Honaker, and her brothers Bobby Jones, Billie Jones (BJ), Kevin Jones, her best friend, Shelia
Wetmore, and a long list of special cousins and extended family. Rickie was a dear Aunt and friend
to many others and strived to be a friend to all.
Born and raised in Amarillo, TX, Rickie’s accomplishments are many, it was her kindness and
incredible wit that touched all who knew her. She was funny, and she inspired those around her to
be better; her compassion was exemplary. She loved to play fastpitch softball and her girls trips
every year down the Guadalupe River. Traveling along the countryside or to other states was a
passion and an adventure that she treasured. As she grew older she could not step away from the
Candy crush game either.
We know we can’t have you, but we find comfort knowing you’re with your Father Billie Bob, and
brother Bobby along with her favorite Pomeranians Itzy, Poddi, Taz, and Bear.
While Rickie was taken to soon from our world, her imprint of who she was will never leave. Rickie,
until we meet again in Heaven, we will miss you.
