Robbie K. Hanks Birckett of Keller, Tx passed away on March 20, 2019 in Keller, Tx. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all that knew her. She was born on April 14, 1927 in Brighton, Tn. to Amos Dewey Hanks and Mamie Ree Glidewell Hanks. Robbie was married to Horace D. Birckett on March 31, 1950 in Hernando, Ms. She enjoyed cooking at home for her family and friends. Also she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with children. Robbie is survived by, 2 sons: Steve from Diamond Bar, Ca., Mike from Trophy Club, Tx., 1 daughter: Carol from Chandler, Az. 5 grandsons: Owen, Aaron, Craig, Chris, and Ryan, 1 granddaughter: Ali, 9 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Kyle Hanks, Allen Hanks, and 1 sister: Jean Scott, and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Horace Birckett. Visitation will be held immediately prior to the service at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel Keller, Tx at 10 am on March 27. 2019. Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to R2R Healthcare, 860 Hebron Pkwy #203, Lewisville, Tx 75057.
