Robert "Bob" Burke
September 8, 1947 — June 7, 2020
Robert "Bob" Burke, age 72 of Colleyville, peacefully left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior on June 7, 2020. He was surrounded by his loving family and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Becky" Burke; daughter Allison Bohannon (Trey); his brothers and sisters, John Burke (Donna), Beverly Burke, Mary Burke, Gary Miller; grandchildren, Kelsey Bohannon and Landon Bohannon; and many friends from around the world. He was preceded in death by his son David Burke, grandparents Leonard and Laura James, and mother Margaret Provenza Burke.
Bob graduated from Biloxi High School in 1965 and had enduring friendships with classmates. He served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war before attending San Jose State University where he received a BSEE and Santa Clara University where he received a MSCS. He worked for many years in the computer industry for HP, Apple and IBM. He retired from IBM Switzerland in 2014.
Family service and burial will be at Dailey Cemetery, Grapeland, Texas.
