Robert Ganaway

Robert Louis Ganaway was born on 10/10/48 to Cpl Louis Ganaway & Marge Maier Ganaway. He attended Ft. Sam Houston schools & graduated from MacArthur HS. He received his BA from Austin College & MS from Colorado State. He & Melinda were married on May 14, 1972. His early career was with the San Antonio police department where he developed the city’s first crime lab. He left the department to pursue full time Christian ministry. Over the balance of his career he held various teaching, administration and pastoral roles in the San Antonio area including: Pastor of Alliance Bible Church, Principal of San Antonio Christian Schools, Headmaster of Bracken Christian School, Pastor of Dayspring Christian Fellowship and President of Gospel of John Mission to Moldova. He is survived by his wife Melinda, son Mark (Angi), daughter Carolyn (Bobby), sister Wendy(Benny), grandchildren Rynae Morris, Andrew Morris, Natalie Ganaway, Courtney Ganaway. He was preceded in death by his parents & daughter Cherie Morris. In lieu of flowers, send gifts to Gospel of John Mission or the mission department of FBC Keller.
