Robert D. Gonzalez, age 74 of Keller, Texas, passed away on December 16, 2023 in Burleson, Texas.
Robert was born on March 18, 1949 in Vernon, Texas to loving parents Sarah (Delgado) and John Gonzalez. He graduated high school at Fredrick High School in 1967 and went on to attend Cameron University for a year before joining the Air Force. After the Air Force Robert excelled as a Knight of Columbus and an Extra Ordinary Minister (Lector).
Robert married his loving wife Mirna Gonzalez on December 3, 1982 and enjoyed 41 beautiful years together and 3 wonderful children. He had a love for film and was a dedicated cinephile. He also enjoyed spending time playing racket ball. Robert's faith guided his entire life, and he and his family are devoted members of the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother and father, Sarah (Delgado) and John Gonzalez.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Mirna Gonzalez; his siblings; Martha Secrest, and Donnie Gonzalez, his three children, Christie Cummings, James Seay, and Marvin Seay; his grandchildren, Melinda Martin, Richard Martin, and Hannah Seay; and his several nieces and nephews.
A public visitation with rosary will be held Thursday, January 4th , 2024 from 6 - 8 o'clock pm at Lucas Funeral Home, located at 1601 S. Main St., Keller, Texas.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, January 5th , 2024 at 10:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, located at 2016 Willis Lane, Keller, Texas.
A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
