Dr. Robert Louis Herrin, 86, of Fort Worth, passed away Thursday, October 26 in North Richland Hills.
Visitation: Sunday, October 29, 2023, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Lucas Funeral Home. Funeral: Monday, October 30, 2023, 1:00 pm, Lucas Funeral Home. Interment: Justin Cemetery, Justin, Texas.
Robert was born October 22, 1937 in SanAngelo, Texas to Raifle Lee Herrin and Lela Herrin. He graduated from Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas in 1956. Robert received his degree in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He worked for Luck Optical for many years. Married Josie Stanley in 1992 in Justin, Texas at Josie's parents’ home.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mable Lee Woodard and Phyllis Obregon.
Those left to cherish his memory: Wife, Josie; and sisters, Mildred Tyree and Julie Herrin; nephews, Daniel, John Paul, and Luis Obregon.
