Robert Allen Huggett

June 7, 1941 — March 19, 2024

Robert (Bob) Allen Huggett
was born on June 7, 1941, in New Orleans, La.

Bob was the third son born to William Arthur and Gladys Rosalee (Borne) Huggett. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Community since 1977 after moving to Bedford, Tx. in 1970. He graduated from De La Salle High School in New Orleans, La. class of 1959. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force achieving the rank of airman first class. There he specialized in meteorology as a weather specialist.

In 1960, he met and married the love of his life, Marie Elaine Beck. They were married 52 years. They have two sons and two daughters. Bob retired from the Automotive industry after more than three decades of service.

He enjoyed Sunday afternoon drives on his motorcycle, baseball, fishing, classic cars and car shows, and he had a profound interest in the workings of all things mechanical. Bob was a member of the Christian Classic Cruisers car club. He never met a stranger, was the life of the party and had you laughing the minute you met him. His greatest joy was his family that he loved dearly.

Bob was called to eternal rest on March 19, 2024. He will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: son Ricky Huggett and wife Keeae, daughter Theresa Oakes and husband Bob, daughter Tanya Lang and husband Dimitrij, son Steve Huggett and wife Jeannette, 16 grandkids and 21 great grandkids.

Bob is reunited for eternity with his loving wife Marie, his parents William and Gladys, his brothers Bill and Tom, and grandson Will (Garrett).
