Major Robert P. Moore

Robert Moore, 76, entered into rest on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at First United Methodist Church Hurst, 521 W. Pipeline Rd., Hurst. Private inurnment on Friday, Oct. 9, in DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.
He was born May 9, 1939, to Garnett and Doris Moore, in Jackson, Miss. Robert received his bachelor's degree from Ole Miss University and continued his education by graduating from Jackson Law School in Jackson, Miss. Robert served over 20 years in the United States Army where he was awarded many medals including the Silver Star and Bronze Star. He retired as a major. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Survivors: His loving wife, Patricia Joan Moore; sons, Robert Moore Jr., Karl Moore, Tracy J. Todd and Richard M. Todd; daughter, Kirsten Moore; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many more loved ones and friends.
