Robert E. Osborne, resident of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of Muncie, IN, passed away on June 9, 2024 at home at the age of 63 years.
Robert was born in Marshfield Wisconsin and later relocated with his family to Muncie Indiana. He attended Northside High School and Vincennes University, Ball State University, and St. Meinard Seminary. He was an employee and credited inventor at General Motors for 25 years. Robert was a firearms enthusiast and graduate of Smith and Wesson school. He was a lover of theater and music, singing and playing guitar and banjo.
He was a family man, dependable, honest and faithful to his family, friends and faith in the church. He was protective and caring. His motto was “Take up your cross and follow me.” His favorite places were where he went on hunting and fishing trips, and the family lake home in Indiana He fought sarcoma for 2 years.
He was a member of St. Patrick Cathedral, Sigma Nu Fraternity, Knights of Columbus, and the founder of Crime Watch in his neighborhood.
He is survived by his wife Nataliya Vitalyevna Osborne, daughter Anna Robertevna Osborne, his siblings Frank (Lucette) Osborne, Marilee (Eric) Osborne Ewald, Barbara (Phil) Osborne Samuels, and Cynthia (Ralph) Obsborne Eckardt, as well as 11 nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents John V Osborne and Muriel A (Schaub) Osborne.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary at 7PM at Lucas Funeral Home 518 S.W. Johnson Avenue, Burleson, TX 76028.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 1:30PM at St. Patrick Cathedral 1206 Throckmorton St, Fort Worth, TX 76102. The burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery after the funeral.
