Robert Wayne Parrish (1963-2019)

Robert Wayne Parrish went to be with the Lord on February 26th, 2019. Born June 6th, 1963 in Kermit, TX to Bernie H. & Sherrie Dunham Parrish. Robert made his mark in the oil and gas industry in the 90's by starting Sterling Roustabout in Sterling City, TX. He continued his passion of work in the oil and gas industry across Texas throughout his life. He was an avid antique collector, loved to fish, and was an outdoor enthusiast. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Bernie H. Parrish, and his step-father, Wyatt Slaughter. He is also preceded in death by his life long friend, Bradley Abbott.

Robert is survived by his 3 children; Tyson Allison and wife Kristen of Mt. Airy, MD and their children Kayla, Kylynne, & Chase; Randy Parrish and wife PJ of Bronte, TX and their children Jadyn & Anson; Robbie Parrish and daughter Abbigail of Bedford, TX. He is also survived by his mother Sherrie Slaughter of Bedford, TX, sisters Stacie Parrish of Alvarado, TX and her children Shaun Lake, Antares Lake & Amaris Parrish; Lindsay Slaughter of Bedford, TX and her children Kamron Harris and Aniah Slaughter. He is also survived by his lifelong friend Mike Sugg and wife Dorothy of Aledo, TX.

Memorial service will be March 9th at 1:00 pm at the Parrish family home. Condolences and flowers can be sent to the residence or to Lucas Funeral Home 1321 Precinct Line Rd. Hurst, Texas 76053.
