Robert Powell,83, of Grapevine,Texas passed away on October 10, 2021.
Robert was born on June 6, 1938 in Brooklyn, IN to William and Carmen Powell. He served 6 years in the United States Air Force during the Cuban Crisis. After serving our country, Robert graduated from Indiana Central College, now the University of Indianapolis, with a Masters Degree. He worked 43 years for Indianapolis Power and Light then retired in 2001. He moved his family to Bloomington and then finally to Grapevine, Texas in 2019.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Carmen Mock Powell and William Clarence Powell and his sister, Constance L. Wampler.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Hamilton) Powell; daughter, Kimberly A. Powell; son, Eric C. Powell and his wife Gema Jimenez Powell; Granddaughter, Brandelyn Aspera and grandson, Michael P. Powell.
