Rob was born in Porterville, California, but grew up in Sunnyside, Washington. He also lived in Virginia and West Virginia working in the National Parks.
Rob met his wife, Michele, when she was visiting Idaho in the summer of 2007. They were married in December 2008 and made their home in Texas. Rob and Michele loved to go camping, hiking with their dogs, and travel. They made many trips to Idaho, but also enjoyed visiting the National Parks, taking road trips across the country, and traveling to Hawaii, England, and Scotland. Robert worked as a chef for many years before joining the work force of Cascade Orthopedics, but he still loved to cook for his family and friends. His niece and nephews always asked for his famous ribs or his macaroni and cheese dish for our Sunday family dinners. Rob was always there to lend a hand to a family member, a friend, or a neighbor, such a kind soul. He loved the outdoors, loved to ride his motorcycle, and loved his family. Michele had just surprised him in December with a huge birthday celebration attended by many family members and friends. We are so happy we have so many great memories of our times together because he left us too soon.
Rob is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Raven, and his parents Raymond and Lynda Roderick.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Michele; sons, Robert and Trevor; daughter, Jade; sister, Della; brother-by-heart, Jerry; in-laws, David and Pam Bach; brother-in-law, Ryan Bach and wife, Kila; nephews, John and Kaden Bach; niece, Kira Bach, and many other family members and close friends.
