Robert James "Bob" Vogel

Robert James Vogel, 65, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, after a long illness.
Graveside service: 2:15 p.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.
Bob was born May 1, 1948, to Robert and Eunice Barry Vogel in Pierre, S.D. He served two years in the Army, achieving the rank of first lieutenant. He went on to work in programming for IBM where he retired after 30 years. Bob had enjoyed his retirement for 10 years in Keller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eunice; and brother, Patrick.
Survivors: Wife of 43 years, Fay; daughters, Jill Atkinson, Julie Thomas and Jennifer Ward; grandchildren, Zack Leadbetter and Kyla Thomas; brothers, John and Michael Vogel; and sister, Virginia Vogel.
**There will be a procession from the funeral home to the cemetery on Monday. If you wish to be in procession, please be at the funeral home no later than 12:45pm.
If you choose to not be in the procession, please be at the cemetery no later than 2:00pm.
