Robert Joseph Weijola, 46, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Funeral: 2:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sunday afternoon at the Funeral Home.
Rob was born October 1, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harold and Ann Meneguzzo Weijola. He graduated from Hancock High School in 1990 and moved to Texas soon thereafter. For the past 4 years he worked as a Warehouse Supervisor for American Tire Distributors. He began classes at Tarrant County College in the fall of 2017 and was looking forward to completing a degree in Logistics Management.
Rob was extremely proud of his kids and was looking forward to his marriage to Regina. Above all he loved spending time with his family who will miss him greatly. He will forever be remembered as a great father, brother, and friend.
Survivors: Sons, Michael Reese and Blake Weijola; daughter, Ashlynn Weijola; fiancé, Regina Thomas; brother, Don Weijola and wife Michelle; sisters, Kathy Pavloski and husband Dan, Christine Collinsworth and husband Bryan; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
