Mutt Williams, 94, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016.
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Smithfield United Methodist Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller.

Mutt was born July 1, 1922, in Franklin and is the son of Jessie Springfield and Ross Jackson Williams. On May 22, 1944, he wed Jean Tomlin and they were married 59 years.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, a gold card member of the Rodeo Cowboys' Association, a member of the Central Rodeo Association, and a founding member and president of the North Texas High School Rodeo Association. He retired as Tarrant County road and bridge superintendent.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; parents; five brothers; one sister; daughter, Debbie; granddaughter, Wende Stover.
Survivors: Seven children; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
