Rodney Raymond Burns

Rodney Raymond Burns was born on December 24, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Virginia (Francis) and Herman Burns. He passed away on September 7, 2022 in North Richland Hills, Texas. He proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1965 until 1967. He retired as a coordinator with Delta Airlines after 26 years of faithful service. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Frances (Coleman) Burns; brother, Herman Burns and wife, Deborah; children, Lori Ann Lenox and husband, Roger and Rodney Raymond Burns, Jr.; grandchildren, Louie Benoit Lenox and Noah Robert Lenox; and nieces, Robin Morgan and husband Michael and Brandi Burns.
A visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst followed by the funeral service at 12:00 Noon with interment at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
