Roger Dale Gregory

May 13, 1946 — April 7, 2022

Roger Dale Gregory, Sr. returned to his Heavenly Father on the morning of April 7, 2022 at the age of 75. Roger was born to Floyd and Lucille Gregory on May 13, 1946 in Fort Worth. He was the youngest of 4 children.
Roger was drafted into the US Army in November of 1965. On February 13, 1966 he married Marian Carpenter. Five months later he was deployed to Vietnam where he fought bravely during an extended tour of duty. Upon his return, he resumed his career as a machinist and was honorably discharged from the military in November of 1971. It was during that time he and Marian started their family. They raised four children and were blessed with twelve grandchildren. Roger retired from Goss International after working for over 45 years as a machinist.
Roger was a devoted family man who most enjoyed spending time with his wife, his children and his grandchildren. He enjoyed the holidays, comfort foods, his friends, the occasional trip to the casino and making people laugh. His smile was infectious, his personality one of a kind and his heart was full of love for his family and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one granddaughter.
Rogers is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marian Gregory; sons, Roger Dale Gregory, Jr. and family, Brian Alan Gregory and family, and Joseph Lawrence Gregory and family; daughter, Amy Marie Hunter and family; sister, Wanda Knight; and two nieces and three nephews.
