Roger Franklin Morin

Roger F Morin, 89, died peacefully on July 8, 2023 at Harborchase memory care. Roger Morin was born January 28, 1934 in Parkman, Maine, the son of Peter Morin, Jr and Mattie (Theriault) Morin. He was the ex-husband of the late Rita D. Morin who passed away August 16, 2021. Roger was a loving father who served his country through the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1972, retiring on October 1, 1972, with the rank of Master Sergeant. Roger Morin was employed by the United States Post Office in Columbus, OH for 19 years, and Dallas, TX for 6 years.

Roger is survived by five children and nine grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, Darell Morin of Grove City, OH. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Robillard and her husband Kyle, and their two sons, Brandon and Trevor of Grapevine, TX. He is also survived by a son, Shawn Morin and his wife Jessica and their four children, Tyler, Samantha, Ryan, and Trey of Peoria, AZ. He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Maltby and her husband Matt, and their three children, Madyson, Myles, and Rowan of Centerville, MD. He is survived by a son, Scott Morin and his wife Jo Bakehouse of Saarbrucken, Germany.

Roger is predeceased by the following brothers and sisters: Mona, Arthur, John, Donald, Rita, Vena, Joseph C., and Veda. He is survived by one sister Helen Calos of CT; nieces and nephews

There will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be held at DFW Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, 7/26 at 1 pm.

Those who wish may make donations in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
