BEDFORD -- Roger Ellis Peterson, 66, passed away at home on July 6th with his wife and daughters by his side.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 2pm Wednesday, July 13th at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053. As Roger was a laid-back guy, we invite you to dress however feels most comfortable to you.

Roger was born & raised in Ft. Worth. He graduated from Richland High School where he made lifelong friends and was always a proud Rebel. He attended UTA and in 1968 went to work for his Uncle Ellis at Sodd Electric in Arlington. He was an electrical contractor there alongside his partner & cousin, Gary Sodd, who he considered a brother. He valued the many business relationships he forged over the years.
Always a dedicated family man, Roger was still ready for any adventure. He loved gambling, golf, his truck, roller-coasters, a good burger, the blues and his grandchildren. He also had a passion for football with high hopes for the Dallas Cowboys & the Texas Longhorns this season. He will be cheering them on to victory.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy Peterson; his daughter Lisa Dyer (Stephen Dyer); his daughter Amy Peterson (Andrew Blifford); his grandchildren Huck Dyer & Jemima Dyer; his mother Inez Peterson; his brother Gregory Peterson; his sister Sue Triano (Dennis Triano); and his mother-in-law Margie Crunk. He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Peterson.
