Roger Dale Skaggs

Roger Dale Skaggs was born on July 22, 1960 in Arlington, Texas and passed away on July 2, 2022 in North Richland Hills, Texas at the age of 61 years old.

Roger was an electrician by trade and was a member of Pleasant Glade Baptist Church in Colleyville, where he was a former deacon. He enjoyed playing video games and loved to listen to country western music. He was an avid sports fan of the local Dallas Professional teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers. He loved his family and he will be dearly missed by them all.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Denise Skaggs of Watauga; parents, Lowell and Mary (Miller) Skaggs of Colleyville; daughter, Jennifer Skaggs of Watauga; son, Travis Skaggs and wife, Jennifer also of Watauga; brothers, Stanley Skaggs and wife Sandy of Kaufman, Gary Skaggs and wife, Sandy of Decatur, and Phillip Skaggs of Piedmont, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Isis Stark, Hannah Skaggs, Oaklee Skaggs, and Christian Skaggs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst with Dr. David Lee officiating.
