Roger Wayne Walker

Roger Wayne Walker was born July 30, 1934 in Quitman Texas to the late O.J. Walker and Leta Marie (Connell) Walker. He passed away on January 28, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Roger was a graduate of Quitman High School and attended Tyler Junior College. He worked at LTV before retiring from Lockheed Martin. He was an avid fisherman, loved football and was a true Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a member of The Hills Church for over 35 years and was a beloved husband, father, and adoring Papa Roger. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Keith Walker, and infant daughter, Michelle.

Roger is survived by his wife of over 63 years, Martha Ann Walker of Bedford Texas; son, Randal Walker and wife, Allyson of Denton, Texas; daughter, Deby Calvert and husband, Shelton of North Richland Hills, Texas; grandchildren Kimberly Cox and husband, Michael, Cole Walker and wife, Natalie, Randi Kaye Brewer and husband, Evan, Graham Calvert and wife, Heather; and Tara Worthy; great grandchildren, Carson, Hayden Weston, Brynlee, Wyatt, Lileigh, G.W., Xander, Xeth, Xerrick, Xackera, Xackery, and Landon; he is also survived by one brother, Donnie Walker and wife, Marshia of Jacksonville, Texas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 31, 2020 at The Hills Church located at 6300 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, Texas 76180.
